Hannah Loves - September

Autumn is here and I have been (very) slowly getting back into my routine at university. When travelling to London for the weekend I thought I should spend my time wisely and plan a new post. So, as similarly shown in my June edition, here are a few things that I have been loving throughout September.

Cinnamon Buns
Probably not what you first expected to read, but for the past couple of weeks these have been my go-to sweet treat. With the convenience of living so close to somewhere that sells them, it has proven quite difficult for my housemate and I to resist. They have been just what I need with a cup of tea for a bit of motivation or when I have needed a little pick me up. I definitely need to have a go at baking them myself!

Hunted
My sister particularly raved about the first series of this Channel 4 show. Currently, two episodes of the second series have been aired and now I wish I had the time to binge watch the first! The show follows pairs of ordinary people trying to stay hidden from a team of former professional hunters. Their aim is to not be caught for a period of 28 days, with a cash price of £100,000 if they succeed. The programme is shown at 9pm on Thursday weeknights and if you have missed the first couple of episodes they are now available on All 4.

Strictly Come Dancing
In line with the television theme, in my eyes, Strictly is unbeatable in terms of Saturday night television. It has been a show my family and I have always watched since it began and I can't imagine missing a series of the show. The line-up this year is as good as ever with celebrities such as Olympians Greg Rutherford and Claudia Fragapane appearing alongside other stars Will Young and Daisy Lowe amongst others. The show will be going into the third week this weekend and is shown at various times on each Saturday evening and Sunday for their results show.

Jimmy Choo Fragrance
I used to wear this fragrance a few years ago but recently received it as a birthday present over the summer. I forgot how much I love the scent and the glamorous essence isn't excessive for everyday wear. The fragrance is available to buy from various stores online and in store, but for more details, I would recommend checking out the Boots website.

Music
In my last favourites, I included a few songs that I'd been enjoying. Recently, I rediscovered the song "Liquid Spirit" by Gregory Porter. I find the song itself generally a feel good song I haven't yet got tired of (until I overplay it of course). I've also spent some time listening to Coldplay's most recent album "A Head Full Of Dreams", especially loving their song "Fun" featuring Tove Lo. Fingers crossed I am able to get tickets for their show next year!

That's all for September, thank you for reading.

Love,
H x
