Hannah Loves - March
I'm (finally) getting back to my blog, after not posting for quite some time. I thought I would go back to a post type I really enjoy writing, that being what I have been loving recently. So, here are a few of my favourites from the past month.
Black Panther
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skincare
Last Christmas I received a tea tree skincare set from my parents. This included a cleanser, toner and mattifying lotion. I don’t have overly problematic skin, but it’s far from perfect and I can’t remember my skin ever being fully clear since my pre-teens. I’m awful at sticking to a skincare routine, but I have found that when I’ve used this set regularly my skin has improved. I would say that this is definitely worth trying if you are prone to breakouts.
Emporio Armani Because It’s You Fragrance
I’ve always been a lover of Thierry Mugler’s Alien perfume, but after many attempts of trying to find one I love just as much, I think I’ve finally found it with this one. It is an elegant, fresh scent, that isn’t too intense for daytime wear. It’s available from many retailers, including on the Boots website.
Music
Lately, my recently listened to on Spotify has been full of James Bay. After not releasing anything new for a few years, the announcement of his new single Wild Love, was very exciting for me. I was and still am a huge fan of his first album and cannot wait for the next after hearing Wild Love and Pink Lemonade. Fingers crossed I’m able to get tickets to his tour this summer!
That's all for this month, thanks for reading this, especially after my lack of posts!
Black Panther
I'm not someone who is overly familiar with Marvel films, but after hearing amazing things about their latest blockbuster, Black Panther, I had to go and see it. With a rating of 7.8/10 on IMDB and a score of 97% from Rotten Tomatoes, I think these reflect the film perfectly. I won't spoil any details but will say, if you do decide to check it out, stay until the end of the credits!
The Bristolian - Bristol
Recently I have been to this independent café and bistro in Bristol a couple of times, for brunch and dinner. With a wide range of choices on their menu, they cater for everyone with vegetarian and vegan options available. Their unique décor adds to The Bristolian’s charm. On my first visit, I had the tostades tomato and on the second I had the vegetarian quesadilla, both of which I would highly recommend! I can’t forget their range of delicious homemade cakes, with their brownie being my go-to choice. So, if you live in Bristol or ever find yourself in the city, I highly recommend you check The Bristolian out!
